Les tiges sont glabres et tr\u00e8s feuillues. Les fleurs externes radi\u00e9es sont jaunes p\u00e2les \u00e0 blanch\u00e2tres, de 3,5 mm. Le fruit est un ak\u00e8ne de 1,8 &#8211; 3 mm. End\u00e9mique de La R\u00e9union, l\u2019Ambaville a pu \u00eatre introduite \u00e0 l\u2019Ile Maurice. A La R\u00e9union, c\u2019est une plante commune de 1000 \u00e0 2000 m d\u2019altitude. On la retrouve surtout dans les for\u00eats h\u00e9liophiles.
